Seriously, though folks, whilewe are somewhat informal at the moment, the decision to host a section like CBT.com's MechWarrior Hall (free-form light-hearted roleplaying) is not a certainty. I for one would like to keep things vaguely game-community-related. Vaguely.

Threadcromancy ahoy!

Okay.  Soooo, under my rank is a short row of little squares.  I notice that these rows of squares range between 1 and 7 squares long, in a variety of colors (yellow, green, and red, at least).  I initially assumed it was directly related to rank (Airman Recruit, Airman, etcetera), but there are Airman-ranked folks with 7 squares in addition to me with my lowly 2.  Is this a combination of Rank and "Special Rank" (Author/Demo Team/Mod/Admin/Designer), or am I just completely misunderstanding the squares' secret importance?

There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the coloured squares are for, and why they are there, they will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable.

There is another theory which states that this has already happened.

After further consideration, I've decided that they're a subjective measure set by the admins about how much they like the person in question.  Which is sad, since my lowly two squares means you all hate me, and I'm such a nice guy.
