(Rolls out the bedding, turns on the hot-water urn, lays out plates of Digestive biscuits and sends Toolian to buy more toilet paper ...)

Seriously, it was a tradition in years gone past, when the Battletech forums regularly "went down faster than a Clanner on the second date" (to quote the (in)famous video) to host refugee camps for the homeless on friendly forums; it's been a while since we needed to, but ... welcome aboard, maties!

Yes, CBT steamed along just fine until a couple of kiwis got lost in the boilerroom, and somehow began electrifying the exterior hull of the vessel. We gather from the press that the cows may never be the same. Regardless, its on schedule to exit the docks in a timely fashion now that the Australians have been transported back to their penal colony. We're unsure why they insisted on being from Canada.

We don't even have plastic ships, most of us, and the Kitbashing has already begun. Let the blood run free!  :{

Someone probably tripped over a power cord.  (we had that happen at work this past summer... to a rack of CMTS's... internet went good-bye for a couple New England states for a few hours until some bright guy actually checked the power cable).

[Walks in. Looks at the (lack of a) mountain of toilet paper, looks at the hole in the ground. ]

Good thing a nice lady from the south taught me how to use only one sheet.

Technically, I haven't been gone long, but it's good to see someone else had the bright idea to get us situated. So, who's up for a game?
