French Destroyer on night Patrol

Not what you call golden demon. Not even pro-painted...










Need to work on my washing skills...... a lot.

The mini took 2 hours to paint, hour and a half of it was spent on the piping alone.  :P

It's not too shabby. I like the dark color scheme. I've always preferred darker, moody color schemes for things I paint.

I like it!  Excellent for stealth/recon missions; on moonless nights over the channel.

That looks very nice, the bronze/black contrasts works really well (but as the Frenchs say: "Ze little black dress, it goes with everything"). I also like the adddition of a large cocarde in the front of the ship : it visually interesting (strong colour contrast), militarily useful (IFF !) and somehow very 1910.

The roundel makes me think of Roman galleys, withe the eyes painted on each side of their ram. 

Might be an interesting look or way to paint up an Italian Fleet.
