Multiple players?
« on: September 07, 2011, 02:31:50 PM »
There are a few people interested in this that are in my group; however, our group has gotten so large that it seems like a waste for me to invest in 2 player games. Would this be able to be modified easily to support 4 players? I was thinking that the separate British and French boxes could be picked up and it could be played as a team game. Does anyone know viable this would be, or would more than 2 players mess it up?

I assume you mean a multi-player free-for-all since there is no reason multiple players cannot play on the same side.

Three-player games might work under the scoring rules from the Channel Campaign, where you get plusses for damaging opponents, and minuses for destroying them, or letting your ship get destroyed. Must think about that ...

I've had a couple of four player team games so far, but haven't had a free for all. I don't see why you couldn't do it if the ships were all roughly equal.

I've done some pretty successful two on two's and a two on three with just the few ships that I have.
