Are PDF's of the battleship cards available?
« on: August 16, 2011, 12:26:07 AM »
I traded up to a battleship at Gencon and after getting what I thought were all the PDF's, I don't think that I see any battleship cards.  Are they out there?  Maybe I missed something.

The only cards available now are destroyers, light and armored cruisers. The final Battleship cards and mini will be in the core set and the fleet boxes along with destroyer and light cruisers.   Then the armored cruisers will be released in the captains box I believe.

there is an early stage HML Leviathan, but it is out dated... a bit

Notice battle wagons have 6 arcs of fire and not 4

they basically work in the same easy fashion at any other arc, they just "V" outward to make the arc with a bit of cross over.

Jean Bart, Montcalm and La Gloire are previewed in BoW Introduction PDF too.

Now I'm too busy to write down stats, but I'll do that if you want to.

The french bb Jean Bart has side turrets. Does the new stat card for the HML Leviath have side turrets?

No, Leviathan does NOT have side turrets, Jean Bart does. Leviathan has a stern turret, Jean Bart does not.

What does the small square mean when it is on a gun position?

Does "saturation fire" have something to do with why it seems like there are gun tubes missing off of the HML Leviathan?  According to the description it has 4x12", 3x9.2", 4x6", and 8x3", but the slots on the cards seem to only account for 2x12" and 1x9.2", and all the small tubes.

Effectively, yes. The guns are... mighty powerful.

Randall, Troll, is it safe to spill yet?

Trying for a game this weekend, so I thought that I'd try and beg for a French battleship, as well.

Completed my first home game tonight!  Using my best understanding of saturation fire and my cobbled together battleship cards, I was pretty unimpressed with the main battery performance of the battleships.  It seemed that the bracketed secondary batteries usually out walloped their big brothers, and, seemingly as usual, Pelletier was the star of the show.
