I Play Shadowrun Rolecall
« on: February 06, 2010, 01:34:18 PM »
One more. Might as well.

While I haven't remained current or got a game in in a year or two, I do like the system and the universe, and have played, and would be glad to play again.

So, who else?

I play Shadowrun from time to time. It's good fun, a nice universe in which characters have a fair bit of freedom. I like my Redline laser pistol, even if it is terribly illegal... But come on, Shadowrun is all about illegal gear and whatnot.

Ahh Shadowrun. Too bad I can't get a steady group for it.

Granted, I've not bothered much with the 4e books [my current SR campaigns are just too heavily mired in the older 3e stuff] beyond the core-rulebook and the Runner Havens tome, but Shadowrun has always been one of the mainstays at my gaming table.

I like Shadowrun a LOT, unfortunately, I just haven't been able to play it regularly for years.

After several disasters with "I want to play a ..." the players now finally decided to go for a group they created all together. Seems to work so far, the upcoming fridays will tell...
It's almost every friday we're playing.
I was a bit reluctant to start 4e but after a thorough look I found that most of our laborously created house rules had been incorporated and now it's the standard.
Bless the inventor of e-books, otherwise my shelves would collapse under the additional load  ::)
Every near miss is a shot lost without proximity fuses...
