Channel Campaign
« on: August 27, 2010, 04:24:48 AM »
So, we'll be getting these campaign rules quite shortly.  I was planning on tweaking them for play by electronic media: forum or e-mail.

So, for this, I'm looking for volunteers.  It's going to be hard work.  You'll have to play more than one game of Leviathans.

Please volunteer below and indicate British / French preference.

 :)

Hey, I have no life! I'll join your campaign. Of course, you probably already figured I would. XD As for preference, I'm flexible, but I'd prefer the British.

Did this ever get kicked off?  It was almost a month ago.

No, but if you and Blackbrunswicker are both up for it, we can look into starting.

I'd prefer to do a couple of practice battles first ( :) ), but yes, I'd be interested.  I would want to clarify a couple of points before we started either way - look at my comments in Randall's Channel Campaign thread.

If you're still looking for players...
Here's one!

How about neko128 v MrPete.  Bb has a bit more experience, which might make it unfair.  Any preferences for side?

Once it is confirmed, I'll start a thread in the Creative Commons Folder.

Tried to print it today, but it keeps giving me errors - anybody else having this problem?

Nope; worked perfectly.

Where did you grab it from?  Did you try re-downloading it?

"What's that smell?  Is that...  Frying frogs?"
"No, sir, it's the ammo bunker that cooked off the next deck down.  But your version is certainly more poetic."

Ha, perfect!
I like the french ships and since there's no german vessel/fleet avaiable until now I'll just stick to the "german colonial zone" :D
And now... I go duck and cover before the french barrage hits me!
