Just to chip in my 2 cents...
I really lean toward pre-painted myself. I had pretty much stopped mini playing because of the need to paint. More because of time than anything else. The idea of the mini's having basic paint jobs out of the box is almost as big a selling point to me as the setting/game is as a whole.
Of course I can understand if they went no paint in the box sets for cost points, but if so I'd love to see pre-painted available as singles. I have recently gotten back into WW1 Air mini's because I can buy the Wings of War planes versus needing to build/paint mini/models. I don't use the WoW rules, but the mini's are very well done for pre-paints.
Something akin to that for Leviathan would lock my gaming dollar 100%.
Of course I do like what I have seen as far Leviathan rules too. I haven't gotten a chance to play it yet, but I plan on trying it soon at my FLGS.
