On Thursday:
Leviathan demo!!! In the way to Hall F.
http://twitpic.com/2bumtd #gencon awesomeness!
-The demo is one of two games being shown. All are using the Lt. Rules. This one is in the entryway hallway to the CCG/Mini hall during Dealer Hall hours, and gets moved into the CCG/Mini hall once the main hall closes and is ran along side the other BT games. The other Demo table is at the back right corner of the CGl booth, and is ran during dealer hall hours only.
On Friday:
"What's Up with CGL?" Seminar. (Note, all comments are in tweet form.

Getting into casual game talk, and how they wanted Leviathan due to the coolness of the setting #cgl #gencon
Discussing Leviathans setting currently...ah, alternate history. #gencon #cgl no current release date yet. Trying to make it big like FFG
Channel Campaign should be out for August Leviathan release, if all goes well. didn't get out pre #gencon. #cgl
#gencon #cgl Randall talking about how Leviathans was a fan offered suggestion, to always try to send things in cause it just might stick
#gencon #cgl Leviathans, RPG in just initial plans, not guaranteed. Want to put fiction with mini/stat packs
#gencon #cgl RED doing well. Leviathan looking to have pre-assembled painted plastic minis with a light paint that can be used as a primer.
#gencon #cgl No new Leviathan demo minis for show this year. Not at that stage yet. Plans for type 0-5 ships. 8-10 factions
#gencon #cgl If Leviathan lasts a while, we just might see floating catamarans. (said in jest) haha. Talking about the CGL Agent plan now
From a post I made just this afternoon on CBT:
Lev demos are all running very well from what I can see. Everyone in my game was excited for it, it's had steady business both in the entry to Hall F as well as the main CGL booth. I've had BT regulars that had never heard of it last year excited to check it out this year. If my feed doesn't explain enough, Randall was excited too, and was lamenting no new minis to demo as of yet, but he did announce that they were currently working towards pre-assembled, pre-painted minis (probably by who did the Loki & Thor), that the paint could be used as a primer by those who wanted to make their own fleets.
If that's what actually -happens- well, at least now we know what they're shooting for. (Except for B. Evans, who wanted them on floating levitating boards and laser range finders...hahahah) Interesting side note, the people doing the Loki & Thor had never done things like that before, it was stuff like plastic silverware.

Then in a later post
Some more of the Leviathans items might be open alpha tested, just to continue seeing how that development process might help things, or what the end result is. We heard a lot about the Leviathans minis thought processes, and how they could have had $500-700 floating ships with lasers, but of course that's just not feasible. (Randall would keep one boxset under his pillow at night, if they were, though.) They really want this set to be on par with some of the nice Fantasy Flight Games boxes, but ultimately that will be a money issue. If they think the market can sustain the cost, they'll do it, maybe around $80 or so...otherwise, ideas will have to be scaled back some.
