IMO, i would say that This, this, and this would be a good example of 1930's era warships (internal lift tanks, more streamlined design)

and This as a mid to late 40's ship.

Not long actually.

Clean up of parts like the hull took a while, but after that was done, the rest went togetrher quickly. A few bits of platic card, strip and rod worked wonders. The painting on each one took a while though.
