Sublimation = any solid turning to gas without passing through a liquid phase. Water sublimes on Mars - it can only exist in the solid or gas phases there, due to the <1% atmospheric pressure.
Solid electroid is, of course, rumoured to be a key component of the e-bomb, much sought by anarchists and other reprehensible types for its near-limitless destructive potential. Pedants offering the secret of crystallising electroid surface from time to time, but those who don't disappear mysteriously are usually proven to be charlatans.
