My apologies for my absence.
« on: April 13, 2010, 05:15:02 AM »
I'm sorry I've been AWOL from the forum & online battle for the last couple of weeks. :(

About 2 weeks ago, I was in a major accident in the BC mountains, during a heavy snowstorm.
For those of you that have been through Donner Pass or Snoqualmie Pass in winter, you know what kind of terrain/blizzard I'm talking about
I slid off the road and went down about 50 feet into a gully. I was in a coma for a couple of days, have a major concussion, so I've had some memory loss & been confused/stupid for over a week.

I'm back home and OK now (except for bruises/separated shoulder), so I'm going to try to continue where I left off.

Again, my apologies for a long absence.  :-[

I don't see the blizzard apologising (even for the delay of Starcraft 2 ^^), so I don't see why you should!

Welcome back!

whoa, I really hope things improve!

The worst snow ever did to me was break my foot.  Weather in general's a bit vengeful and random.

That's one of the reason why I live in Florida.... ;D

Anyway, I'm glad you're alive and still in one piece. Maybe the fog in the Med will start claring up so we can get back to watching four shups kill each other..... :D

Yup yup, I live in Wenatchee, so we've got Snoqualmie & Steven's pass within 30-40 minutes away.

Crazy man, glad to see you're on the mend though. Take your time, the game'll wait as long as you need it to.

Holy moly! I'm really sorry to hear that Lord Cameron. I'm glad to hear that you're doing better though. And here I was thinking you were abducted by aliens. XD Yeah, winter weather can be a doozy. I was once introduced to a lovely stone wall do to an ice patch. I think there's a law that says all back roads in CT must be lined with rock walls. Anywho, I hope you're feeling 100% soon.

The next person to say sorry for being in a coma gets banned. >:( Or, anyway, I'll glare at them really strongly.

Absolutely no apologies needed, and I'm glad to hear you're okay. :)
