That is awesome! My only advice would be to reduce the breach rolls a bit. An open-topped gun pit like that would be hideously vulnerable to fire from above. Admittedly, their small size relative to a capital ship would make actually scoring a hit difficult(as would their distance, being all way down on the ground), but I imagine a direct hit from just about any ship-mounted gun would eliminate the whole gun. Maybe also reduce the movement(or lack thereof in this case) modifier die as well, to reflect the difficulty in hitting them?

Aside from that, I really like this! I love how it uses existing game mechanics to bring ground guns into the game, without needing to make up new rules. Hopefully official ground emplacements will work much like this, when they are brought in.
...because that battleship's...well...FLYING.

Thanks for the responses they are very inspiring.

I looked at it again and made everything a little easier. You should only need average rolls for a 3in/75mm gun to hit any one spot, with a minimum crew. Anything else is gravy.

That was what I was aiming for. Thank you very much. Take a look at the revisions. Comments are encouraged.

I'd actually suggest making the card half-height - eg. be able to fit two on the space of one card. The flank and stern slots really aren't necessary. But a great idea!

Well, yes, but I didn't think the pic would have to be that small. But that'd work for sure.

Would the guns be limited to a single arc, or would they have a 360 traverse?

I'd say 360° traverse.

Forward + Port and Starboard. I wanted there to be a weak side

No, I think AA (OR AL guns in this case ;)) guns should have a 360 traverse. OTOH, regular artillery should had limits in Arcs, in return for better range and more damage......

How about something like the WWI Railroad Guns as AL guns? Sure, limited, but what a Punch!  ;D

Nice! I was thinking of the forts at Liege, turrets with 360/90 degree arcs but they'd be very expensive. Aerial mines, anyone? We have 'nuke-free zones' now, what about barrage free zones and Open Cities? Long range 'disappearing batteries' similar to coastal types could work. Monolithic concrete city bastions(flaktowers) could be built. Flash rockets to screw up Gun Directors. Large area camouflage to hide industry from the air. Still trying to shake off S1889 concepts and think SchlactKrueser! sorry if I spelt that wrong.
