Anyone planning on watching this? I don't have HBO, so I'll have to wait for the DVD.

Can't wait.

I may host it online for a few people I know who don't have HBO.

Filmed here in Melbourne, the sets not two thirds of a mile from where I work, and they did some on-location stuff in town using the big old gold-rush era banks and buildings!

Shouldn't you be using kilometers and not miles?

Just remember - it's "armour", "aluminium" and "colour" for Leviathans ;)

I would expect this to be pronounced as "Al-ooo-min-e-um". in fine fashion of course.

It's "Al-you-min-ee-um", actually. Melbourne is "Melborn", Canberra is "Canbrra", and Maroochydore and Oodnadatta are best left unmentioned.

Hrm, I shall blame my mistaken pronunciation upon the apparently lazy Canadians that I spent a few months with many years ago, then.  ;D

Ala-min-yum in WA  ;D

WT, you should realise by now - Aussie means using as little syllables as possible.  ;)

I still have no flipping idea how these central Washington natives can call this state "Warsh-ing-ton". There IS NO R. I might be from Texas originally, and I might try to call a pretzel a "print-zel", but there is no warsh in Washington. ;)

Same was there's no a in Missouri, but you still hear people trying to say it "Missoura."  Irritating as all get out.

WA = Western Australia in this case.

or to be more accurate, "Wes-stray-la"  ;D
