How would the flying ship technology impact the Olympic games?  I figured since they were going on now...might as well ask.

Directly, not at all. The Olympics has always been about human powered sports.

I think it is the more indirect applications that matter. As the technology for Leviathans moves into the civilian space, you will see flying cruise ships, Good Year Blimp replaced by the Good Year Camera Ship, etc.

Leviathans are much more about changing the way people move about the world. Heck if you wanted to go really far off, just how easy would it be to create floating cities with Lev Tech?

That's one of things that's really neat about Leviathans. The impact on the world of 1910 is comparaticely minor, but the change will snowball as technology advances. The world of 2010 will look very different from what it does now.
