Hellbie, don't forget the occasional Halo appearance in the form of hitting the wall/tree/rock right in front of you with a rocket.

For me, I play BattleTech (in various forms), MechWarrior Dark Age, as well as various Xbox/Wii games.

... but I've owned and/or played just about everything out there.
Almost the same. I've probably purchased more than I've played.

Proposal: we not mention Hellbie dice. First, it's a BattleTech meme. Second, we don't rely on luck here - we're masters of the etheric sea! ;D

One of my players says I have "Dwarf dice".  They are really really horrible at rolling most of the time, but at some undetermined point, they start rolling really really well.  Sometimes in the same game, but most times it's several gaming sessions in-between.

Not quite hellbie dice, but darn close.

So, what shall we call the Hellbie dice in this continuity?  Or are we still going to just call them Hellbie dice?

I think I've gotten this one beat.  My bro and I were playing Halo: CE on The Library.  We were about halfway through the level, and I tried firing a rocket at a group of flood down the hall.  An infection form jumped in front of me and detonated the fricking rocket and killed us both.  Most irritating/hilarious game incident ever.

Can we have flying tanks?

Sheesh. So yer dice luck is omnipresent. Oh well ya gotta have something to hang yer hat on..and Hi Brian. :D

The worst dice incident I have ever had was I had a Mk 48 torpedo boomerang on me in a Harpoon game we were trying to replicate "Hunt for Red October" but the Alfa in the game fired on the wrong sub. I fired back and whoops! I felt like O'Kane in the USS Tang.

I own a number of games I can't convince others to play: Might and Reason, Field of Glory, Victory at Sea, pretty much anything historical.

On the other hand, I play BattleTech, Star Fleet Battles, Warhammer Fantasy and Warmachine. I'm starting to move away from freeform games towards hex-based games, though. They seem generally less bothersome and more accurate.

I'm personally big into Monsterpocalypse as of late. Already have popped a few of the buildings for use on BT Maps, too, which was the original intent.

But, as with anything I like to part out for use in other games, I want to give it a try to see if I like it, first.

For example, all the ancient african and european figures from Arcane Legion being pressed into service as army markers for Risk: God Storm. In the mean-time, I'm looking to read the rules for Arcane Legion just to see if it's any good, and maybe see if I can't come up with some conversion for the musket age models at the same scale that I have, and then eventually BattleMechs. :D

I had a very sheltered childhood with only a few toys, so it's no wonder I like to mix and match with almost anything.  ::)

I've got Battlefleet Gothic, but I find that Star Fleet Battles and Federation Commander are much better. Doesn't stop me from playing (since it's a GW game, it's one of the few I can get others to play around here). I'm expecting Leviathans to become a relatively easier game to ensnare my friends with though, as very few of them want to play through a full game of SFB, and I'm trying to move away from GW games, or games without hexes.

Argh.
Correct
But we played a different timeline anyway, hence my time error.

Maybe it was a time-jump -- Space: 1896: The Dark Age?
